Keith Thompson
Founder, You Can Grieve
Keith Thompson’s journey with grief began early—after losing his mother during his freshman year of high school, his world changed forever. That profound loss became the catalyst for a lifelong mission: to support and empower young people navigating the pain of grief.
With a deep understanding of the emotional weight that loss can carry, Keith has dedicated his professional life to helping youth process their emotions, build resilience, and discover hope. His personal experience inspired the creation of a trauma-informed curriculum designed to provide practical tools, emotional support, and a sense of community for grieving adolescents.
Keith leads with empathy, compassion, and authenticity. His ability to connect with young people stems from not just professional training, but from a place of lived experience—making him uniquely equipped to walk alongside youth on their path toward healing.
"Grief doesn’t have to be a silent struggle. When we give our youth the space to feel, we give them the power to heal."
